South Beach Diet : Low Carb Approach

South beach diet is one of the popular and newest diet plans. South beach diet plan is a low carb diet plan idea for fast weight loss. This diet plan includes high protein and low carb substances intake.

This diet helps you in losing up to 13 pounds in just couple of weeks. This is believed to be a healthy diet plan and has worked for many people. The weight loss results are exciting as the food intake is not lowered just the quantities are altered.

This South beach diet plan consists of three stages. If each followed religiously you can achieve amazing weight loss results:
In the initial phase on taking this diet plan, you have to become restrictive in diet and maintain this for up to 2 weeks. You are allowed to eat three normal mid-sized meals. Each meal may include vegetables, eggs, cheese, nuts but no carbohydrates. With this exclusion of all carbs you will be able to have enough energy despite of restricting yourself to eat carbohydrates.

After two weeks of restricting carbs, you have to start including some of the banned carbohydrates back into your diet and this usually causes weight loss upto1-2 pounds.

Once you have achieved the weight loss in the first 3 weeks, you have to start maintaining the weight and not gain back. You have to keep moderate quantities of carbohydrates and have more of fiber rich products this leads in maintaining the desired weight which can be done by simple intake of balanced diet.
