Protein is very important for our body to function properly. Most of our body processes involve protein interaction in various chemical reactions in our system. Proteins are responsible for repair and regeneration in our body.
Important repair process blood clotting is dependent on many proteins working together in a complex process. Our immunity is also dependent on sophisticated proteins which are termed as antibodies. They help in preventing infections and various adverse reactions. Our DNA comprises of proteins which carry imprints of genetic code in the DNA which is highly essential in reproduction. Another essential protein type and a major component of blood is albumin. This protein helps us keep just the appropriate quantity of water inside our arteries and veins.

Our muscles are made up of proteins, the muscle tissue comprises of two proteins called actin and myosin, which cause contractions.Protein form our body structure, bones comprises of calcium this mineral is held together by a complex composite made up of protein.

Protein also forms the blood vessels & nervous framework in our body that holds all cells together. Enzymes found in our body are also special types of proteins that cause various physiological and chemical reactions which control normal functioning of our system.
