Have you ever wondered what damage toxics do to our body when we get contaminated with various food additives, cigarette smoke, pesticides, asbestos etc?

These toxics have adverse effects on our health some common symptoms are like frequent bloating, cellulite formation, early wrinkles and unexplained weight gain.

People who have been alcoholic are given a treatment where they get detoxified; similar diet can be followed by people who want to wash up the toxics inside of their system. This is a slow and long process, which is accomplished usually in different phases.

For First 3-4 days one is made to drink just pure water and nothing else. After this a Monotrophic Diet is started which is, you have to eat one type of fruit with each meal.

As a sample diet, in breakfast you can eat melon, any kind as much as you like but nothing else.

For lunch you can eat only oranges or grapefruits, some citrus fruit. At evening you can have fresh carrot juice and then in dinner take any kind of fruit and eat as much as you want just one type. One is made to follow this monotrophic diet for a week’s time.

After you have completed 10 days in this you step into second phase of detox diet which as supposed to last for month long, this is again based on raw fruits and this may cause a lot of weakness so it has to be done under proper supervision. As the system is not getting energy from carbs and fat one suffers with nausea, weakness and fatigue. This is common and the body is also removing the toxins inside your system which have been collected over the years.

Detoxifying diet is getting popular day by day many people are adopting this method to attain purification and weight loss. Most experts believe that a few day water fast followed by a month long diet of just fruit is not healthy and can cause serious malnutrition hazard to your life.

If you under go detox diet under supervision it may work just fine for you, but if you don’t want to take any chances there are many other reliable diets you can go on.
