Healthy growth is vital factor for every child. Due to all bad habits that parents are unable to control or correct children get prone to suffer from child obesity. All growing children have additional energy requirement as they are growing constantly and they crave for more food.

But is it important to know and follow, what shall children be fed with and how much is sufficient for their bodies. Their healthy growth depends on a healthy diet and daily physical excercise.

But if children are eating more that is needed they will tend to get overweight and will develop risks for obesity and other problems.

Health risks can develop both early and later in life, diseases like diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, stroke and bowel cancer are common types.

Since the risks of serious health problems increase as a child becomes higher, prevention of child obesity at an earlier age is very important.

Onset diabetes is caused where the body is unable to produce enough insulin in comparison to the body size and diet consumed.  Diabetes is a serious disease and it has many complications.

Obesity can also cause cardiovascular diseases caused due to accumulation of unwanted fat in the arteries.  This collection of fat blocks blood circulation and heart has to overwork in order to pump blood with a greater force, which can cause heart attack.

If obese children store fat until their adulthood, it gets difficult for them to lose weight. Therefore, measures must be taken in early stages itself to lose weight and have controlled diet.
