Buttermilk Cinnamon Waffles
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Atkins Bake Mix
- 3 packet sugar substitute
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ tablespoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoon cinnamon powder
- ¾ cup buttermilk
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 6 tablespoon butter, melted
- 3 tablespoon Vanilla Sugar Free Syrup
- Cold water as needed
Instruction to prepare:
Firstly heat the waffle iron. Whisk together the bake mix, sugar substitute, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon . Add buttermilk, eggs, butter and syrup mixed well. Add a cold water as needed. Place approximately 3 tablespoons of batter in center of a waffle iron. You should cook until it would be crisp and dark brown
Hot Flax Cereals
Ingredients:
- 1/4 Cup flax meal
- 1/4 Cup light cream
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 sachet splenda or any other sugar free
- Cinnamon
Instruction to prepare:
Mixed all the ingredients and cook in the microwave for 2 minutes.
Hot Maple Bran cereals
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup wheat bran
- 1 teaspoon guar gum (thickener)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 sachets Splenda
- Some butter
- Some maple extract
Instruction to prepare:
Mix wheat bran and guar gum in heat resistant bowl. Stir in 1 cup boiling water. Mix until even textured (no lumps). Now Add salt, splenda, and maple flavoring. (Can add few pats of butter).
Truly Hot cereals
Ingredients:
- 1 cup flax seed meal (ground flax seeds, regular or golden)
- 1 cup protein powder (suggested is vanilla EAS Simply Whey powder)
- 1/2 cup wheat bran
- 1/4 cup oat bran
- 1/2 cup raw almond, coarsely ground
- 1/4 cup raw unsalted sunflower seeds, coarsely ground
Instruction to prepare:
Mix all ingredients. Add half cup of water and Bring to a boil, stirring, and continue to boil and stir for at least two minutes, to thicken and you are done to serve.
