Minestrone Soup:
Ingredients:
- Half clove garlic
- 20g Onion
- 20g Carrot
- 1Bay Leaf
- 5g Cabbage
- 5g Spaghetti
- 30g Tomato
- Half Teaspoon Salt
- 11 half Cups Stock
- a Dash Pepper
- 2 Teaspoon Oil
Procedure:
- Chop the onion, Shred the cabbage and dice the carrots.
- Heat oil in a saucepan, add the onion and the carrot.
- Add the stock and bring to the boil. Add the macaroni skinned and chopped tomato and bay leaf.
- Simmer gently for 20 minutes. Add the cabbage and seasoning .
- Cook till the vegetable are soft .
- Serve hot, garnished with grated cheese.
Carrot Appetizer :
Ingredients:
- 4 Cups water
- 50g Black Carrot
- 10g Mustard Seeds
- 2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
Procedure:
- Wash, Scrape and cut the black carrot .
- Add the black carrot and other ingredients to water and mix well.
- Store in earthenware pots or glass jar.
- Put in the sun for seven days or more to sour.
- Serve in medium glass over crushed ice.
Grape and Orange Whip:
Ingredients:
- Large Orange Flavored
- I5g Jelly Crystals
- 2 glass water (30ml)
- 1 tablespoon cream, whipped
- 2 Eggs
- 30g Grapes
Procedure:
- Firstly to squeeze out the juice, but keep the orange cases intact.
- Dissolve the jelly crystals in a 2 tablespoon hot water. Let it cool a little , the add orange juice to make 3/8 cup ( add water if required)
- Allow to cool in the fridge tills it begin to stiffen slightly.
- To whisk the cream, whisk the egg white stiffly and fold these in the semi- stiffened mixture.
- Put a layer of seeded grapes at the bottom of each orange case, reserve some grapes for decoration. Top with jelly mixture and let it set in the fridge (not in freezer).
Fruity Tarts:
Ingredients:
- 20g Buckwheat Flour
- 20g soy flour
- 20g maize flour
- half curd
- 40g Apple
- 40g papaya
- 40g guava
- 2 white eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Procedure:
- Roast Soy flour , mix with buckwheat and maize flour .
- Add baking powder and strain juice.
- Bit egg to a stiff stage and fold into the flour.
- Using curd knead the flour into soft dough.
- Roll out cut into round .
- Bake in a moderate oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Dice fruits and lemon juice and spread out.
