A Sample Diabetic Diet Plan is as under, there are plenty of plans available and we will post more such types, however you can get best results with the diet plan that is customized for you by your dietician.

A well planned diabetes diet plan will cover your body’s needs, optimum nutrition and also will propagate weight loss.

Following is a standard Diabetic Diet Plan to get you started:

In Breakfast you can take half glass of fresh Juice. A slice of toasted brown bread with 2 eggs will be the filling constituent. Do not forget to take a glass of milk. Avoid butter, if you really need you can use fat free margarine in little quantity.

At Lunch you can take half a cup of sliced cucumber or lettuce, A mushroom and spinach omelet with 1 slice bread. You can also eat half cup of vegetables avoid butter or oil, but if needed just use 1tsp.

In Evening you can have a cup of coffee or tea without real sugar.

At Dinner time you can eat grilled or baked meat or pork along with half a cup cooked beet root or green beans. You must fill yourself up with salad with no or fat-free dressing. If you are hungry you can take 1 slice of brown bread

This  diabetes diet plan is not for diabetics who are taking insulin.
