3-Hour Diet

The 3-Hour diet is a diet program that is based on the philosophy, meal timing is more vital than the food eaten per meal. According to Mr. Jorge Cruise, the body’s basal metabolic rate or BMR may be increased by eating every three hours. Having a high metabolic rate is exactly what one needs in order for their bodies to burn more calories. There are three basic rules on this diet program. First is to eat breakfast within one hour after waking up, second is to eat every three hours after having breakfast and lastly, one must stop eating three hours prior to going to sleeping.  The 3-Hour diet claims to reprogram the body’s basal metabolic rate (BMR) and helps dieters lose 2 pounds per week.

3-Hour Diet Plot

The 3-Hour Diet requires dieters to eat three meals with two snacks during the three-hour intervals. The 3-Hour diet recommends certain foods but does not necessarily have a daily meal plot. Mr. Jorge Cruise also recommends dieters to drink 8 glasses of water daily. A dieter’s caffeine intake is not limited but dieters must make sure to drink two glasses of water in very cup of coffee, this is mainly because the dehydrating effects of caffeine. Alcohol may be drunk but rarely. The 3-Hour diet allows quick food and frozen or processed foods. It highly recommends that a dieter should plot their meals and snacks ahead of time since this helps dieters stick to their diet and ensures success in losing weight. The 3-Hour Diet is not as strict with a dieter’s food intake compared to other diet programs. It just merely requires a dieter to eat a reasonable amount of carb, protein and fats.

3-Hour Diet Jorge Cruise

The 3-Hour diet is a diet program originated from Jorge Cruise during the mid 2000’s. Back then, Jorge Cruise was an overweight child who wanted to lose weight and shape up. He also dreamed to be a self-proclaimed weight-loss expert; but he never had formal nutrition training. He became successful in losing weight and shaping up. Jorge Cruise even became an author of New York Times Bestseller, 8 Minutes in the morning. He is also a diet and fitness editor of a well-known magazine, Excellent Housekeeping and a columnist of USA Weekend Magazine. The 3-hour diet is concept the Mr. Jorge Cruise believed in. He believes that for one to be able to lose weight, one should eat small amounts of food frequently every three hours.
